I can't say I'm surprised. I was certain I'd switch from Samsung to HTC this year but after watching both the reveal streams for the M9 and S6, it was a no brainer to pick the S6 going by my needs. I'd like to see them move away from the gorilla glass back. I got my edge today and while I love it, the back is so slippery. I always have a habit of leaving my phone randomly lying around on corners/counters/sofas etc and already in about 12 hours of owning it, it's dropped on the floor more times than I've dropped my S4 this whole year. I want them to stick with the more premium design but think they can do better.

Sounds better and better with every rumour. Due an upgrade next April and was almost certain I'd be going with HTC's next flagship model but the edge plus a non cheap plasticy feel to the phone and Samsung will certainly have me interested.
I'm due an upgrade from my S4 next year and being honest, I was more interested in what HTC has in store however the S6 Edge definitely has my attention. After owning the S2 and S4, I want a phone that feels premium in my hand and I'm glad Samsung have finally acknowledged the need for this. I'm just crossing my fingers that they are listening elsewhere too, toning down the bloatware and touch whiz would certainly be more steps in the right direction.

It would be doing Samsung a huge favour. I have the Galaxy S4 it's ridiculous, it's advertised as having 16gb memory but only comes with 9gb free.. the rest is taken up by bloatware 90% of which I've never touched and never will.
Well that's what happens when you don't listen to the critics. For the past few years now, the same complaints about the plastic and touchwhizz have gone ignored. Looking at their latest models, I have higher hopes that they plan on actually making a premium feel phone however when my S4 contract runs up, I'm probably going to jump ship to the next HTC One phone, they look so nice and don't have nearly half the phone's memory filled up with bloatware I'll never use.
Seeing as it goes good one, bad one and seeing how they've skipped Windows 9, does that mean Windows 10 is going to be another bad one?
Samsung's most beautiful phone ever? Well going by the looks of their Galaxy S series, that's really not saying much. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come from them, now if only they sorted out the bloatware problem.
