Dont see how a dual core cpu can be faster than a quad 1.5ghz. two random benchmarks. wow
note 2 will crush it anyway
Look at the site, it's a blatant Apple fansite, so no way are you going to get an impartial comparison.
The reason why the latest ios is used on most iphones is since the hardware is all so similar. That is, incremental upgrades.
The reason for fragmentation on android is that you have phones ranging from 320x240 single cores, to 720p quad cores and everything in between. Adjusments have to be made
The facebook android app is so poorly coded. It constantly uses between 20-50% CPU when its just idle
There's so much wrong with this I don't know where to start. They go on and on about the bloody environment and carbon footprints etc. Currently they tax cars based on emissions, the more your car smokes, the more you pay - it was a way of rewarding people who bought more eco cars in that they had less road tax (sometimes none at all) to pay.
They also used to offer a scrappage scheme too, where you could trade in any old shitbox and get something like £3000 of...
Gondee is a blatant apple fanboy. I wish I could punch ignorant sheep like him. Anyway, the reason the dpi is lower on the s3 is because the screen is waaay larger than the iPhone screen. you can have 2 screens with identical resolution but the smaller one will have a higher dpi. Does that make it a better screen? Not unless you like squinting.
Why would you buy either when the Galaxy S2 (or most other Android phones) are so good?
I'm surprised people fall for this on the basis:
a)that is so obvious
b)you have to jump through so many hoops most people would have given up already
If you still proceed with the surveys, premium lines and stuff then you deserve a medal. Or a virus.
What I was getting as is the virus definitions and such. If someone knows what an AV program is looking for in a certain virus, then surely they could change the code of the virus to work around how the AV spots it?
I think that's how most viruses come into being
Are they seriously trying to pass this off as a new feature? FFDShow has had this forever. Basically it averages pixels from the current, previous and future frames to reduce the spotty kind of noise you get. Sometimes it works, sometimes it looks awful.
If you are watching 1080p movies, you don't need this as the quality will be good, even for a poor rip. I expect the reason they have this software feature is because the camera is such low quality
I expect that this information could be used to circumvent other AV programs besides Norton. Why would anyone do this?
Yeah it's pretty dumb. My Vaio is 16.4" and 1080p and stuff gets pretty small at that.
I suppose it's good in a way for competition and stuff, but apple needs to focus their priorities elsewhere and give the iPhone a 16:9 screen
Big deal. I have a CRT from 2003 that does 2048x1536
Protest? Dont get what they will gain from this
There are certain things that you shouldnt be able to patent. Patenting the direction I move my finger on a touch screen? Get the hell out of here
One thing I want to know, if they are recycling all this stuff, does it lead to cheaper prices since it's not new? I doubt it.
For every one site they take down, another dozen will surface. Even if they had some magic way to stop this, people would just go back to IRC or something
It's nice to know that nothing we buy in the future will be new. Eventually we won't even be able to buy proper paper, but that rubbish off colour spotty recycled stuff
Declining in popularity doesn't necessarily mean declining in quality. For me, firefox will always be the classic browser. I don't like Chrome's dumbed down UI - I can never find anything. Give me a File, Edit, Tools menu any day!
Speed wise, I can't say I notice a difference between Chrome and Firefox. Maybe it matters on slower connections but I have 100mbps and one of the fastest routers you can get right now.
I like firefox for it'...
Don't mind me, I'm just enjoying my 4.3" screen from May 2011. Step it up apple. LOL
not unless you can give it a new larger screen, more ram, upgraded gpu and 8 core cpu. no you can't transform an s3 into an s4
