My ISP blocks access to most torrent sites.
I say most, though I haven't found one that works yet.
They can't block VPNs yet though. Heh.
Oh yeah, I forgot they did that.
I just uninstalled the facebook app from my phone though like a non-retarded person.
Well, a non retarded person wouldn't have had it installed in the first place but...
Very easy to steal too from the looks of it.
More pointless, overpriced attachments to compensate for designer shortsightedness could be a reality in 5 years.
As much as I preferred Iwata he was a major old school kind of guy and seemed to want Nintendo to be all about the games, hell the only reason Nintendo network exists now is because they really had no choice. This new guy though seems to be of a more modern frame of mind and to keep up with the competition they will need to look into VR.
It's going to be interesting to see the direction they take in the next few years.
Presumably the infrared would be read by the phones cameras as they can see infrared light. Here's an experiment for you. Go grab your phone and turn on its camera, now point your tv remote at it and press a button on the remote. Presto! You can now see the ir beam that your tv remote emits.
All apple would really need to do is have some software on the camera that would recognise what ever code is being sent through IR and act on it.
Not that this is a good idea in the ...
Did you see that interview he had where they got him to take his hoodie off?
There was some proper cult like shit printed on the inside of it, apparently these hoodies are given out to all of his employees as well.
*Only for use in Skynet
I remember another guy who survived for a while without a heart but he looked ill, like seriously ill. By comparison this dude looks relatively healthy.
Heh, funny. I've actually seen someone else (a scientist... I think) suggest that we may be living in a simulation fairly recently and apparently there are experiments underway to test whether the theory holds water or not.
Though I'm not sure how they'd test for something like that.
It's all very interesting, obviously, but I don't think it will affect us much. At least not in this lifetime.
I had 8/8.1 on my laptop until it installed 10 and I have to admit, it does seem to run better now than it did with 8 on it.
Not that it doesn't have its share of problems mind.
I dunno man, I've been to some pretty grim places in games. Places that I'd rather not know the smell of.
I've heard dodgy things about this duckduckgo. Good on them for giving to charity though.
OnePlus3?
Why didn't they just call it 4?
Exactly, it would help if they advertise the phones as well. Here in the UK; we have ads for Apple phones, Samsung phones, LG, hell I think I've even seen them for Huawei, all on TV, in magazines and ad billboards.
Not once have I seen one for a windows phone. How do they expect people to buy them if they don't even know they exist.
Yeah the article says "hidden" and "behind a series of menus".
It's literally a couple of clicks, I don't know if it's any different on a phone app as refuse to install it but the filtered message box is a piece of piss to get to via browser.
Maybe, I can understand how some people might pirate a game before they commit to buying it, because with the way some companies are these days you never know if the demo you're playing is largely representative of the final product.
Of course you could also make the argument that with things like youtube/twitch/the other one and shareplay on PS4 (not sure if x1 has an equivalent yet) you can get a good idea of the quality of a game without the need to pirate it.
I'd s...
As long as they happen to be filthy rich
£500 is a LOT of money for the average consumer (you could probably get a decent spec PC for around that price), one would hope that the price drops fairly soon after release. Just for comparison the PS4 was £349 when it was released.
Obviously people will buy it on release because it's new tech and the fact that it's VR, but whether it will have the staying power at that price? Really too early to tell at the moment I think.
@Gasian
Yeah that's the one mate. I don't mind it too much with them as it (as far as I know) is the only revenue they get and they use it for hosting/site maintenance, plus the ads don't seem to be too intrusive.
I remember dualshockers had an add on their site that filled the screen for about 10-15 seconds whenever you clicked on a story, so irritating. Thankfully they seem to have gotten rid of it now though.
@SniperControl
You are a gentleman and a scholar sir.
I used to use tor but I couldn't be bothered setting it up on my new PC
