This is funny, considering my current laptop will likely dominate every tablet released in the next several years in terms of overall performance.
Tablets are okay for certain things, but should be supplementary unless you don't care about running high end software/games.
they might have just put someone in office who wants to tax some people 75% so that "lazy douche bags" don't have to work, etc. Ridiculous.

I agree with you for the most part, though the first thing I wondered was whether this was a publicity stunt of some sort(etc.)
Unfortunately in this case it SEEMS like the seller was pretty young and maybe not wise enough to understand the perceived stupidity of his actions.
The answer is probably to "educate" people rather than telling them what to do.

I have no use for tablets though.
I have an android phone and my LAPTOP can run games/software that wouldn't even boot up on a tablet.
actually, my oldest laptop can run games/programs the new tablets can't run.
They are a bit more portable though. BTW I'll stick with win XP and win 7 for as long as possible as far as windows goes.
Maybe in 7 years when they are on par with my current laptop...

well, on my phone you can't even browse through your sd card without rooting the phone. Imo those kinds of rediculous software restrictions should be illegal, as they are obviously intended to prevent you from loading YOUR OWN CONTENT ON TO YOUR PHONE so you are forced to buy ringtones, etc. from your provider.
Lol, good point. Now the inexperienced might just hide their experiments and do potentially bad things without checking to see if it is okay first. Hopefully they will just check before they start their dangerous experiments. Personally, I am happy people are actually doing some interesting things with their time rather than watching some BS on TV. I wish more people would experiment and educate themselves, provided it is done safely.

He wasn't making anything explosive, he was doing experiments. He called to check and see if what he was doing was okay and that was when they raided him. There are many other ways to safely harness energy from substances, unfortunately he probably wasn't learned enough to do this correctly anyway. Hence the mini meltdown in his kitchen. Inexperienced people should not be playing with these because they might hurt someone without their consent or knowledge.
