4G Boasts Impressive 'Faster Than Broadband' Speeds in Trials

Gadgehit writes: "4G trials haven’t even begun in the UK, with central London being one of the first of O2′s trial areas, but the speeds that early access users are receiving are very impressive. In fact, they’re faster than normal broadband in the UK, which averages at around 6 Mbps compared to around 87 Mbps for the new 4G, wireless internet. That’s right, O2 promised speeds of up to 100 Mbps on the service, and it looks like they are true to their word."
