mostly because the more they grow, the more equipment they need to invest in to keep the service running smoother and more hardware to host more content, etc etc etc.
it would be a shock though if it increased to 200% the current price. that would make headlines.
I get it and I’m fine with it. This is still a hell of a lot cheaper than going to the movies once.
Yet here in the UK the content gets worse & worse, then less & less.
They have increased prices twice within a year's time haven't they? Not that I don't understand the reasons but one of the attractive points was their price. Their content still sucks compared to what they offer in US. Still I wonder with their subscriptions increasing as well, why another price hike.
