Maximum PC: EVGA unveiled its SC17 gaming laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. One thing that's notable about the system is that EVGA didn't source an existing system and slap its name on the box, this one was designed 100 percent in-house. It's also now available to pre-order.
Finally a 17 inch laptop with something higher than 1080p screen. Now you can still only game at 1080 (at high settings) but at least you can use the real estate in windows for regular stuff.
