The Freedom 251 may be the world’s cheapest smart phone but the device released by Noida-based Ringing Bells is riddled with problems, including a possible copyright infringement of Apple’s iconic iPhone, HT has found.
Noida-based Ringing Bells, a company that came to the spotlight with the launch of the "world's cheapest smartphone" - the Freedom 251, on Friday announced its products will be available on Amazon India, starting Saturday.
This would help the poor people like farmers and they would come across technology. The youth won't buy this because they won't get that they require from smartphone.
Keeping up with its promise, Noida-based Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd on Friday dispatched 2,240 Freedom 251 smartphones priced at less than $4 to those who had ordered.
Technology is going crazy. I wonder how the phone maker will make profit from the sale.
Less than half a year after saying plans to sell a $4 smartphone in India, Ringing Bells is starting to supply the primary Freedom 251 phones this Friday.
