When staying at a hotel you have a reasonable expectation that what you do in your room remains your private business, and that it won’t be captured by a hidden camera. The same should be true for an Airbnb rental, right? But one user of the home-sharing service claims she was secretly filmed by the homeowner.
This change to Airbnb has been long overdue.
Any hotel, Airbnb, or restroom could have hidden cameras installed without your knowledge. Protect yourself with this.
Hidden cameras are not new to Airbnbs, but as technology advances these cameras become smaller and more difficult to recognize.
This came straight out of a horror movie. Thankfully this wasn't a bloodbath like said movie.
I heard walmart has security camera's in the mirrors in the dressing rooms. Probably just a rumor.
Airbnb is not for me. I'm not comfortable enough staying at someone starngers home - a least at a hotel you know that service solely exists for one purpose, you the traveler.
Not some potential perv, or other deviant trying to make ends meet for their rent.
