Is it time to leave music composing to AI ?

Several research teams and even startups have developed AI that can compose somewhat decent melodies. In some cases, the pieces created by the AI are pretty good actually.

well given that music done nowadays is pretty much all template cut and paste run-of-the-mill, they might as well leave it to AI.
not one song made in the last 6-7 years will last as long as any of the classics like the jacksons, beatles, etc. unless you know someone still jamming to roar, blurred lines and wrecking ball. most are probably forgotten at this stage.
another thing, with auto-tune, everyone who can half sing nowadays can be a star as long as they look the part...having talent nowadays doesnt matter.
