Sony has unveiled its latest Xperia phone, the Xperia Z4v, and it will be available through Verizon Wireless this summer. The Xperia Z4v runs Android and is waterproof. Sony has included a 5.2-inch 2560 x 1440 display, 20.7-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera with the handset.
The carrier's decision not to introduce the Xperia Z4v is a big blow to Sony, which has struggled to break into the US market with its smartphones.
Despite some confusing design and spec changes, Sony's latest US-bound effort looks to be a contender in the competitive ring of the most capable smartphones around. That is, if it's affordable.
And again I cannot get it due to them skipping AT&T...Guess I'll just wait for the Note 5.
