FTG Writes: Someone would be hard pressed if the first thing they noticed about the Samsung Series 7 Gamer was not its immense size. The frame measures 16.1 inches wide, 11.2 inches depth and has a thickness that ranges from 1.29 in the front to 1.96 inches in the rear. All this and its hefty 8.39lbs (11lbs with power brick) adds up to a laptop that tests the meaning of portable, but uses its size to hold a lot of functions and features that make it worth lugging around.
Whether you're a gamer, or a cinema lover, you don't want to miss this Samsung 77" 4K S90C Smart TV. Now over $1000 off.
Experience gameplay at its best with this Samsung G95NA monitor deal that sees a price drop of almost $1000.
Amazon and Best Buy are currently offering the lowest-ever price on the Samsung 990 2TB in their respective Black Friday deals.
As much as I hate Windows 8, benchmarks show that it destroys Win7 on gaming. Gamers will have an interesting decision here.
Destroy is a bit exaggerating, at least from what I saw/read on Anandtech W8 only slightly better when it came to games.
In come cases it was worse even, but the most important part is that the OS is still fresh so with things should be better.
As for this laptop it's overpriced just like the NP-700Z7C.
Alienware M17xR4...if you really want a good gaming laptop.
There is another Model Number that comes with Windows 8. From what I saw they are the same specs on everything except the Operating System.
I only reviewed the Windows 7 model so couldn't get any benchmarks and didn't feel comfortable saying how the Win8 model would run one way or another.
