It hasn't forced the split on me yet, I'll stop automatic downloads so it won't update!
If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't that mean any file over 4GB will then not be able to be used? There are HD movies and some other things that go above 4GB, which is why I ask.
This will be handy when we are forced to buy 200 dollar textbooks for college :P
There are :P Those ads or email's that you clearly know are fake? The same people calling the police for Facebook being down are the same people clicking on those.
This is why I find it dumb when Yahoo takes over anything. Almost every week they are shutting down a perfectly fine service, then turn around and buy more..... why?
This is one thing I hated about panels when I went a few years ago. A lot of panels, even small ones nobody really cared about, all got mad when you had a camera. It's friggin comic con what is the problem?
Why is this news to them? I've studied the genome sequence and scientists (even my professor) knew this number already. I took the class last year, my professor said it was known for a year or two, but still developing to see what exactly it's for.
So not only are they slow, they just give up because they can't figure it out? We didn't even know anything about genomes until recently..... Glad I don't study there lol
Let's see if carriers step in and "add some funds to a campaign" at the last second that makes this change.... so annoying. Why was this allowed to begin with?
Not really. Phones would cost that "limited amount" to begin with if carriers didn't step in. They work out deals with manufactures to increase the retail prices of phones so that carriers can provide them at a "discount" when someone signs a contract.
The only ones that don't really do that are Google, and I've walked into several phone stores lately and the Nexus wasn't on display in any of them.
They are busted and they know it. They were told to quit touching stuff and kept doing it. If it wasn't them, then leave it alone and let investigations prove it.
How awesome would it be to then use this for safety features? Braking alerts, staying in your lane, etc.... they could even acknowledge hazards and bring up a route to safely get around it.
Plus GPS would be insane with it.
Why don't you just create a network of computer that is not "online" to everyone else? If that fails just go back to say DOS and make a program that covers you up?
It just seems more convenient than a type writer. Those things are an absolute pain to use.
If it's an inside leak, then build computers that have no USB ports or disc drives, along with a private network, so that nobody can steal the files.
@above. A few people did not go off, a LOT of people did.
It's a sign of MS not listening to their customers at all. During the entire battle between Apple and MS, what were PC fans proud of? Being a more "complicated" OS if they wanted it to be. It wasn't "stupid friendly," yet still easy to use. It was great for business purposes and schools.
So what does MS decide to do? Go the complete opposite direction...
S...
Windows 8 on a PC is a pain in the butt for advanced users. For tablets, it's fine, but clicking on slides and clicking 10 times just to get to the back end is a pain in the butt. I complained about the "Stupid friendly" approach Apple uses, then MS turns around and does it too....
I still use 7, took a desktop I bought back because it had 8 on it and I didn't want to bother changing it to 7. I've prevented myself from buying a new laptop because I don&...
Yahoo is so strange. One minute they are "struggling" and shutting services down galore. The next they are buying new services for some new idea.
Problem is they jump in too late. Do we really need yet another video service? It will be locked to "hired content providers" when it first launches, so it's obvious it is bringing nothing new to the table. Beyond paying more to entice content providers.
About time they fixed this problem. I drop my phone all the time and never had it crack on me, but I have the rubber(ish) glass protector on it.
So weird seeing a friend simply have their iPhone slip out of their hand and pick it up to see a huge crack across the screen.
I only like Bestbuy because its the only dedicated electronics store in my area. Well them and Frys Electronics a couple miles away (which is WAY better so it's worth the drive)
However in these terms they start lacking. It's like asking Wal-Mart for help, it doesn't exist. They also heavily favor Apple crap with any question you have. Even when buying a camera they wanted to show me some Apple computer and I was just like "no, I use PC" and they kept tr...
Science has had the genetic code stored for some time now. Almost 90 percent of that is useless fluff though, only about 3 percent is needed to actually physically make a human. Look up genome sequencing, it's interesting.
Where a lot of data is needed is the human brain, which is MUCH larger than this. It also needs to be able to process all that data at a fast rate.
Would be interesting to see, but I'm more curious to see how it effects the enviroment when it gets bigger. Will it make dry places even worse? Will it cause problems with rain clouds?
We already have systems that put moisture into the air, so it makes sense to reverse that and take moisture out of the air.
Really? Because for the past month or so I've been seeing constant crying from PC gamers whining about console games. Wait for Destiny to come out and the whining comes right back..
