I've owned many, the only one that has come close to my Edge was an LG phone but I don't like their new ones. Can't wait for the S8 personally!

I understood not upgrading 7 to 8 because 8 and 8.1 sucked, but 10 is all around better and was free for the longest time. The is no reason not to upgrade.

If Amazon is eating the cost then it'd be stupid for companies to not get in on it.

screw the waterproofing excuse. I'm not dunking my phone in water. Water resistant is good enough, let us remove batteries again.

It's not to avoid lawsuits, its because carriers are offering a free switch to any phone. Samsung see's it and wants to keep you as a customer so they have to do something.

Didn't they just announce controllers or something for 199 dollars? I don't think it's affordable yet.

If you want affordable you go with Samsung Gear, if you want a proper experience you shell out the money for Oculus.

Samsung lucked out that there are so many other stories going on right now. The president debate, what's her name pretending to get robbed, etc... The Samsung story was kind of buried under it all so not many people are taking it that hard.

Even right now people just joke about it and move on. Samsung still has the image of Apple Rival and it will continue to do that.

It's because of marketers. In order to sell a product you have to relate it to something successful, so a lot of them go the road of "This is the (insert big name brand) killer!" It grabs investors attention and reviewers attention, then they repeat it.

Honestly I think Facebook is only remaining around because they have money, plus they just buy whatever network challenges them. Instagram almost beat them out until Facebook bought it. I'm not worried abo...

Reminds of some program I had in high school. I had no idea how to read or write music, but this program made it easy. I just learned where I liked sounds and was making orchestra music for my videos. All the music people were getting mad because it "wasn't proper" yet sounded fine.

I only have a problem with two of their suggestions being highly contradicting. If trickle charging is bad for your phone, then how is randomly plugging it in whenever you can a good thing? It's basically the same thing, it's constantly being charged.

I agree with you. I don't know why they don't function like other devices and simply just run off the power when plugged in. For example your laptop, you can charge it 100 percent, then remove the battery, and if the plug is still there then it will keep running fine.

Phone makers by this point should create an "off switch" where if the phone is at 100 percent and plugged in, the phone stops utilizing the battery power.

Also, Devil, wh...

Let's be honest here, if these companies were not outsourcing to China to begin with then China wouldn't have the idea to attack it.

What annoys me the most is seeing some of these sellers tout themselves as an "American company" then sell you a product for like 50 dollars, you get it and it says made in china. Then a Chinese "knock off" sells for around 10. I mean why not just skip the middle man and pay less, it's the same product anyways....

If websites would stop with their autoplay videos I wouldn't need noscript installed.... It's so annoying reading an article then out of the blue a video along the side starts yelling at you....

2933d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not really. Unless these add ons are somehow sneaking in another way. Most people install adblocker and noscript and leave it at that. There is no need to go further and start downloading random no name ones.

800 dollars can get me a laptop that supports my drawing tablet, has in-depth photo and video editing, processors to handle all that without a problem, and is more reliable with better batter power and support.

Or I can get an iPad that does "most" of that, and what it does do isnt nearly at the same level of depth.

It's not like that doesn't happen in America too. You know how many times a government office has told me to snail mail or fax something that can easily be emailed? Even some banks or insurance companies stick to it....

I was interning at one business and they wanted me to make fliers for some event. I pulled out my laptop and started using Photoshop, and I was told to not do that.... what? They wanted it done in Word with clipart....

Can they please "update" it again and stop trying to force me to use the stupid annoying battery draining separate app to message people? That'd be great.

I've posted maybe 2 times in the past week and it was just random re shares. I also like random crap all the time just to giggle. I also like how Facebook constantly demands you use your "real name" but I just throw something random in haha

I personally just keep reporting all the ads I see as offensive. :P

Id spend the money just to see what all they come up with, it'd be interesting yet scary.
