Gaming on Batteries' Triverse writes, "...the speed of the CPU set to 1 gigahertz by default (slower kernels are included with instructions on implementing them for anyone that wishes to do so for stuff like better battery life, more stability, etc). This speed increase over the original shipping firmware’s 600 megahertz is definitely an improvement for many titles such as Fishing Diary (specs below). There is a noticeable speed difference compared against the newer official 800 MHZ firmware that JXD released recently."
