Now representing their Neanderthalian metro design; random squares and rectangles mashed into a solid object. Probably the biggest step backwards in P.C. UI design ever, having a menu dedicated to tablets also be a part of the PC version of the OS.
I love how people pretend to know whether or not a person has used the often demoed OS.
And act as though it isn't common sense that having so many over-complications with 8's interface is horribly unintuitive.
And furthermore, pretend like you're the only one on the planet that has had extended use with it.
Feel free to stop your ironically judgmental attitude at any time.
Pickles: "I don't sees the whats the problems is"
Of course we wouldn't. Because HTML5 has been slow to adoption for "former" flash uses and flash still rules the internet.
"Bu- but we wanna know if water was on the planet! It will be billions well spent if we know that Mars used to have water! We can take that info and use it to improve OUR planet by......uh.... hmm. GO AWAY, IM GONNA BE A SPACEMAN WHEN I GROW UP!!"
A clown with the goal to become mayor has a stolen Job's owned iPad?
I smell a conspiracy.
"Surface comes out as it is a table everyone needs as it is not limited like Android and Ipads are as with a Surface you don't need a pc as well where you do with Android and Ipad"
Most people DON'T need a PC. An ipad or Android tablet allows you to email, use facebook, and surf the web. TA-DA! Everything the average computer user needs.
I just hope they don't jump to the next line of snack-named OS as quickly as they did last. Jellybean is pretty sweet (pun intended, i guess) and releases could be a bit more monumental.
"Win 8 is PERFECT for touchscreens and its ui is soooo clean"
They have two main screens and adding widgets/gadgets (or whatever they're called) takes about 3 more steps than on Android. Win 8's UI is horridly unintuitive.
Both iPad and Android have much better interfaces than Win8.
That's a sweet idea; AC is expensive.
Any solar-powered utility is a great idea, so long as it works well. I'd love to get solar-units for just lights or something...save some cash.
I can't wait for HTML5 to get to the point flash is at now.
Yep. 2050 is gonna be a sweet year!
Seriously, it's sad to see Flash go. Seems like a complete and utter waste. This is only going to set mobile back several years.
Less features, bigger resource hog....nope, XP is the best, not 7.
No problem; use the gun to rob them of a TV.
They (once again) cut a bunch of features. And they told people to shut off certain gadgets on W7 because they had security issues and had no intention to fix it.....preparing us for less features? I think so.
Less features, silly unintuitive interface, an unnecessary tablet interface on desktop as part of it.....yep, I would be happy if it didn't exist as well; the less BS, the better. I'll stick with Windows 7 (as they ask us to disable more features and quickly ...
It looked pretty awful on tablets, too, though. To simply add a widget/gadget (whatever its called on Win), you have to slide the screen, dock the screen, dock another screen, drag to other screen, drag screen....it's ridiculous and unnecessarily complicated.
On android, it's touch screen, choose widget, pick widget. TA-DA!
"They should have followed in OSX steps"
Every time they try, they fail.
But come on. Android's interface is head over heels better than iphone and windows phones.
No, no! Quick! Get this man some free healthcare!!

Civil suits in UK have juries? I did not know that.
Put Apple in their place, Samsung.
"Yep it's possible.
The size of the rotors on that craft were massive.
I reckon it would take 4 but for a smaller craft.
It would take alot more to lift that"
So basically, you meant "No"
No one asked if a TINIER helicarrier could fly with those rotors.
Way too much weight. Those rotors were only, like, 6 Iron Mans in diameter.
