Watching crunchy roll half the time I don't think I'd notice much about 3d graphics in chrome

I think this will catch on pretty soon. The world is getting automated and it's getting there pretty quickly.

I've been very critical of Google generally. However, when I read that they are initiating only paying for the data you use, then I say hooray. Good for them. This will be a win for the consumers. The greed from the "other guys" is worse than the Google in this instance. Enough ripping off consumers for our mobile devices. Thank the Google.

I am really trying not to be old here, but is there really a need of all our appliances or devices talking to each other. This is just another gimmick to make you a part of their 'Ecosystem'.

I wish some device cud get me food though and without talking.

google glass is a great concept, it just took a beating from public fear. That is what really hampered consumer fear.

It's a great idea and product but it's too soon. Might aswell take the time now to make it cross platform and increase battery life.

Just because tech people say wearables are the future doesn't make it so.

Personally, I don't want to talk with someone who wants a "leg up" on the rest of the world by having a computer strapped to their face.

t appears that Windows 10 (on touch devices) is moving away from the edge UI, as well.

For example, Windows 8 allows you to switch between apps by swiping the left edge of the screen. In Windows 10, that gesture will pull up a centered view of all open apps, which then requires you to use a pointer finger.

Nexus 10 is 16:10. As is Nexus 7 (both of them). As a matter of fact, apart from a few 4:3 models (like the new Nexus 9), pretty much every Android tablet is 16:10.

Having said that though, I've had a few 10" tablets that were 16:10, and the size combined with the aspect ratio just makes it odd in portrait mode. Can't say I mind at all on a Nexus 7 though, being smaller I feel portrait works well even with 16:10.

"...It's just that there aren't many reasons to use an Android tablet with a screen this large..."

This is a bizarre claim by the author.

There are a million and one reasons to use a tablet of this size regardless of OS, but for one thing if it's an Android tablet then you can drag and drop your own videos of any format on to it without the restrictions and middlemanning imposed by for example itunes on IOS - and play them natively on t...
