The fact that none of these services are worldwide is just stupid though, I know there are licensing issues, but there is NO decent TV show provider like Hulu in the UK. If they expanded here, they would make so much money.

I doubt it, it would be a massive security risk if someone misplaces the disc. With the current tape drive backups, they just overwrite the same backup and never move the drive, it's much safer.

Dunno about that, I've got a WD Scorpio Black 320GB in my PS3, and it says it's SATA2, and it works fine. But yeah, I have a feeling it will be incredibly expensive.
It should be illegal really, especially for medicines. I remember reading about a laser razor that would keep you shaven for 6 months, and nothing came of it, so it seems like they were probably bought out by one of the razor companies. I know it's not a medicine, but a similar thing.

Seems like they haven't announced a price yet, but yeah the sizes are getting to a point where it actually might be worth buying one of these. I probably would consider getting one for my PS3, but then again I have a feeling that this 512GB SSD will be super-expensive. Probably 5x more than a HDD equivalentt.
Apple should have allowed SD card to be used, but then they wouldn't get the sales of the larger HDD iPad.
