At the moment they're talking about normal internal networks, but internet at this speed probably is possible. For example, people in South Korea get 1Gb/s internet at a pretty cheap price fro what I've heard. And they've had it for years.

I guess it's good news for the customers though, because in the UK the only option we have is LoveFilm and it sucks ass. They'd never do this, it would DRAMATICALLY reduce their userbase, and what would happen is their competition would gain more users. Social networks that aren't free just don't work.
It seems like it will be an iPhone 4S, but with the rumored specs, it could easily release as the next version of the phone, so iPhone 5. I'm just hoping it has, firstly a good camera, and secondly a good battery life. Anything else is a bonus really.

I was really surprised, until I read your comment. So this is no way as advanced as I thought it was, I assumed it was taking data from the person's life and melding it together, and that was why it was showing different images.
In certain ways, the iPhone actually sucks. I've got a 3G, and I personally think that it could EASILY have had a much better camera and much better features when it was released, especially for the price. It is also a very closed system, but that's expected tbh.
However, unlike any other smartphone, iPhone actually has decent software support, because Apple releases updates for all their phones for at least 3 years, so that is the main reason I'd recommend an iPh...
It seems like what they did was jump on the "we hate bankers" bandwagon to try and reduce the amount of hate they got for all the PlayStation and other game developers hacking. But you can see that there are some people on board with this, but there's no doubt that all of these guys will have the FBI on their tails.
Surely they make a cut from each app sale on the android store? I know you can distribute Android apps separately too, but having it in a single place should be worth something to developers.

I honestly thought that this was pretty much what happened anyway, little did I know, smartphone makers are idiots and don't think things through.
But you can still get both deals, it just means they will be charged to you separately. The idea behind this move is to attract people to certain aspects of the business, because some people who only want streaming will pay for Netflix, and others can pay for Qwikster, which is now going to offer more services including video game renting.
