ExtremeTech: Back in early February, the Building Windows 8 blog published an entry on power efficiency in the new operating system. One sentence of it, in particular, caught my eye. “In a world where 75% or more of the PCs sold are battery powered, programmers are, by definition, being asked to rethink how to get work done again.”
