Other phones are built just as well, if not better.
Apple is known for having sub par audio actually.
The camera is nice, but nothing else about the phones is impressive.
The alluminum builds just make the phone fragile. It looks nice, but that's not actual build quality.
Not disaster, but it was a bad call.
They would have had better luck with a normal processor.
Why? They're great cards, and already faster than any game can take advantage of.
Let them put more time into their next card. I'm sure it will pay off.
No one stole anything.
Same here. My church invests heavily in the homeless/less fortunate.
The tip WAS paid. Can't you even read a receipt?
The 18% was in the total.
What' you're looking at is "additional tip". As in additional.
Get it?
The tip was paid.
She broke a contract posting it, she should have been fired. It's not fair to the customers.
What? 4k is exactly twice the resolution of 1080p, thus taking about twice the space. (unless the frame rate is increased from 24fps, then you have a little more math)
Where are you guys getting this math?
I actually really like this song. Not in the way I normally like music (Muse, Etc), but in the way it's unique and full of energy.
It's supposed to be comical, and out there and they achieved that. If they found something people like, more power to em.
While I'm an Android guy myself, noone who honestly knows what they're talking about (or is being honest with themselves) will say Apple products are crap.
They're good, but I still prefer my android.
I use Ubuntu on my laptop without any issues. Ofcourse, I only use that for internet access and the occasional video, but for me it works great. I actually chose it over other os's, for this particular situation anyway.
Exactly. Water itself rarely harms electronics. It's usually the arcs or shorts that the water causes while touching the connections that causes damage.
If the screen doesn't short out, let it dry and you should be good to go.
Even then, you typically get a smoother experience, even if you're running a lower frame rate, with a single card. A single card always works better than one, and it's smaller for those small cases.
Dual GPU simply induces bragging rights (to those who are convinced) and headaches.
I've been building computers for 13 years now, and I've never been happy with dual gpu.
Even with 200 of these GPUs, you won't get avatar like graphics.
The computer that produced Avatar,
"Thirty four racks comprise the computing core, made of 32 machines each with 40,000 processors and 104 terabytes of memory."
http://www.datacenterknowle...
Why would anyone want a dual GPU?
More heat, more power drain, less efficient, more expensive.
Nothing out there requires the horsepower anyway.
Just shows you people will buy ANYTHING apple puts out. It's not about the product, it's about the idea, and that's why apple is selling their products when obviously better, cheaper, faster alternatives are on the market.
If by Pong, you mean a piece of hardware people can actually afford, then, whey yes! It does.
Side note, looks cool, but not practical for anyone I know.
Great os, with an awkward interface.
It's a good system, but I feel like I have to work a little harder to get to everything I really use, like the desktop. I'm curious to see if they evolve the interface with future service packs or patches.
Indeed. There are certainly some high points to it. Seeing live updates on your desktop for things like mail and facebook are nice.
I hope that they continue to work on the interface through future Windows Updates however. A few small tweaks to allow for better productivity would be welcomed.
At first I hated Windows 8, but after a while it sort of grows on you. It's simple after you learn it a little bit, not to mention very fast. Most users will love it, but once you start trying to really dig in and mess with stuff, things get hard to get to. That's my only pet peeve here.
Overall, it really is pretty slick, if a little forced. Still, I think I'd prefer to have my same ol Windows 7 interface with some tweaks.
I still don't see why they can't have a full start menu, and metro?
I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I would think that giving people what they want would sell a few copies of your software.
