Uuuh yeah, it was announced with Windows 10. Gaming industry has jumped on it but the premise is an extension of Windows.
It's a difficult list to compile, I would struggle to place any of the consoles I've owned over the years in a specific order.
They have all had their time in the lime light with some real high points, YS on PC Engine, Shenmue on Dreamcast and FF6 on SNES are some off the top of my head.
Consoles stopped being just games consoles once they started using CDs as a medium.
Now they are multi-faceted entertainment centres and lacking something like DLNA when it's predecessor had it for as long as I can remember is pretty crap in my opinion.

That's because your 2 year old phone can't handle the latest build of iOS. Outside of the 'MUST HAVE LATEST PRODUCT!' crowd the remainder of iPhone purchases are more of a necessity caused by adding new software on aging hardware.
