Electronista - HP has tried to appease early adopters of its HP TouchPad by offering users a $50 App Catalog credit. The webOS tablet is currently discounted by up to $200 between August 5 and 7 as the company seeks to gain sales traction. HP is offering a $100 instant discount on the tablet, which Staples has also matched over this weekend bringing the cost of the tablet down to $300 for the 16GB model and $400 for the 32GB model.
