Yeah, wtf MS. This is an odd way to announce your product. Maybe theyre just trying to get the media on their side before they make the public largely aware of it? But as for the tablet...
Wowza, now this is the tablet I can get behind. The thought of having a tablet that is this thin and light but also has full Windows behind it AND a Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor is incredibly appealing. The keyboard cover is nearly as exciting as the tablet itself. And thinner than the iPad...
Really the only thing keeping me from springing for an iPhone is the lack of Flash support. So much of the internet is flash based I feel the browser has really been neutered. But who knows, the iphone 5 is looking promising... This might be the one I get.
I think it reduces size and space of the phone. Lose the physical keyboard and suddenly the phone is smaller, or has lots of space for a bigger battery, more memory, etc. Not to mention less moving hardware so less chance for a joint or slider to break.
Edit: And yes, super cool indeed.
Forgive me if I misinterpreted your question, but Facebook is by no means only worth a few dollars. Currently each share is worth $31.91 and there are an estimated 2.5 billion shares on the market. That means the worth of the company is equal to 31.91 * 2,500,000,000 = around 80 billion. The whole problem with these stocks is that FB started off at a value of 100 billion... far overpriced. Now it's price is falling, people wondering wtf happened. I think.
Oops, accidental post.
Time, as much as location or space, is a matter of perspective. It seems likely, with the universe so exponentially large and diverse, time is flowing at different speeds all over the universe. Fascinating to think about.
This deep, existential pondering brought to you buy Winkle92...
To be fair, Apple started it with the ridiculous lawsuits. (Samsung, HTC, Android, Google etc.) Looks like it's their turn to get their pants sued off.
I would use Chrome, but so many older sites don't support it so I am trying to transition to Firefox. And the addons are better on Firefox.
That's the beauty of counterfeiting, it's never too late to start!
lol jk. It's too late.
Oh my bad, meant 'rain' coats. :P
Caught me there.
Not so secret anymore, eh?
Edit: And from the sounds of it, Google is looking to move from software to home appliances and beyond. Yikes- the world domination begins.
I see this more useful in coats and umbrellas and the like. Stuff that doesn't need breathability. Or an electronics coating. I bet they'll come up with some ingenious applications for it. Can't wait!
Those are a bit creepy, but that Alpha Dog is actually really cool. It's amazing how close it seems to be approaching true walking- especially when they tried to push it over.
Yeah that was a joke. But a bad one... nevermind.
Wow he literally bought a hundred of the same turtlenecks to wear to work everyday? Bet they would grab a pretty penny at auction, though that doesn't seem like something the family would do... :P Just sayin.
This is great. The fact that Wikipedia is protesting the removal of free speech is an endeavor that more companies need to do! I applaud them for standing strong and not bending over to the Italian gov't.
But what flavors will it come in?
The keyboard is very cool and I could see that actually happening soon. But the holographic display... well, I'm not holding my breathe.
But this way he gets to play about any game released which is nice. I'm actually surprised there haven't been more mods like this.
I like it, but I'm always skeptical of these ultra-minimalist designs from the start. I think the designer was definitely going in the right direction though.
