it's not even DS 1.5 as its not even graphically better its a DSI with 3d that's all the 3DS is. Nintendo are very clever at repackaging the same old stuff and making it sound and look new.

MS are always trying to expand right now as the software market seems to be earning them a lot less than in the past due to freeware alternatives like open office etc.. and rumours of other massive companys making OS like google. They are trying to future proof the company and so far it's got off to a bumpy start (original xbox and early zune) but it's getting there thanks to a CRAP load of cash. I agree the days of PC gaming are dying mostly because of the silly rising costs. PC games are massively dropping because of it and piracy is more rampant than ever. Thanks to cheap large TV and lush graphics for the price of an internet ready PC people choose the console over the PC.
