I'm avoiding W10 like the plague if I'm honest but I will have to 'upgrade' by July since I dont wont to pay MS for Windows.
From what I've read so far it seems W10 is on par with windows 7 or better in most performance scenarios.
How come you experience the exact opposite? Could your PC/laptop specs be the reason why?
That's why I'll probably look into upgrading to W10 in June 30th 2016 and if I like what I read about the state of the OS I'll upgrade.

If Apple is indeed doing this they should be punished.
There's no excuse for older models to run slower if you release apps designed for its specs. If they allow current phone apps to be installed in older units with no optimization they are guilty of cheating again.

So simply upgrading from W7 to W10 wont clean windows 7's accumulated "residue" so to speak? I'm not referring to user downloaded programs, files etc, just Windows 7 leftovers.
Me too, but are you sure it isnt because we grew up with windows OSes and that Chrome OS doesn't deserve a chance?

While BB still have their loyal fans (primarily for business reasons, emails agendas etc) I don't think those that jumped ship to Apple after they bombed will be coming back.
One thing's for sure, BB aint stilling no-ones thunder, especially Samsungs'.
