We always had net neutrality prior to 2015. The Net Neutrality laws were simply aimed at making sure things stayed the way they Always were. The ISP’s are spending vast amounts on lobbying campaigns so they can change that. Hope this clarifies things.

The ISP’s are trying to politicize this by acting like net neutrality was a new idea born in obama’s administration. (Knowing that whenever you label something as “obama’s” some conservatives automatically think it must be a bad thing) The truth is that we always had net neutrality. But ISP’s want to take that away. Slowly but surely.
