I agree totally, iv got a ps4, Sony amp and blu-ray player but stopped buying there televisions because they had really high failure rate for me. Apple are currently like what Sony were in the 90s and the same thing will happen to them eventually as well, if it hasn't started already.
It doesn't look good for Sony to be honest, PlayStation division is pretty much there only profitable division they have left. In 2000, Sony were worth 150 billion+, today they are around 20 billion.
Nvidia have the sweet spot for fast performance and heat/efficiency. AMD might be cheaper most of the time but poor drivers, loud fans and high heat output goes against them for me
