I hate how the s3 mini was so watered down and low end speced yet had a mid range price tag. Samsung makes a great high end phone but they skimp on their mid-low end products.
Um there are these things called the htc one s and the htc one v which were essentially mini one x's. So no htc is only "copying" itself.
Also you can say that samsung copied sony's xperia p u lineup as they are essentially "mini's" of the xperia s.
Atleast the one mini isn't a watered down version of the one as the s3 and s4 mini are going to be of their bigger sibilings.
To my ears I can easily hear the difference. The snapdragon's audio sounds a lot more digital and fake while the wolfson chip makes the sound have weight and oomph. Plus with hardware eq you can use the equalizer without distorting the sound.
octo version uses wolfson audio vs the snapdragron crap in the 600 one.
And then the ps4/xbox 720 came out and amd takes back that market share and then some from intel.

Sony is doing pretty well with their windows 8 lineup and is BY FAR better than Samsung's.

Is it expensive? Not if you consider that the surface pro with similar specs reaches over 1100 with the keyboard which isn't backlit, 6gb ram vs the pro's 4gb, 11.6 1080p Adobe rgb 96% vs 10.6 1080p unknown screen specs.

Back then it was expensive. Now it's cheaper to implement and final products are much thinner because of the super efficient ulv processors and screen tech.

I think your ending should say "made good products" now all apple does is refresh it's hardware and software. ios feels too old, and should have been replaced by now. Their osx hasn't changed much since it was first created. Apple's ui needs a whole new overhaul if apple wants to get my interest.

After using windows 8 I would like to say you are better off with surface or a better tablet. Win 8 is PERFECT for touchscreens and its ui is soooo clean. I am really starting to like metro :D

Support and payment availability, it's just not there. Unlike a credit card, I can't go into any store and use my phone to buy something unfortunately. Plus not all phones support google wallet or they are blocked by the douchbag us carriers.
