I just spent 609 CAD (That's with tax) on a 1070, next year I guarantee you the 1160 or whatever will outperform it or be close for half the price. Hell 980 TI's were 800-900 CAD, I'm now outperforming it for 300 less a generation later. That's just the way of PC hardware and if I'm being honest, this level of gradual performance is far better than what was happening in the late 90's. Hardware one generation old that couldn't even compete with the new stuff, it wa...

It's not for gaming, it's not for gaming, it's not for gaming, it's not for gaming. Did that sink in yet? Okay one more time.

It's not for gaming!

Everyone, it's a workstation card. WORKSTATION. These aren't designed for gaming, or targeted at gamers in any way shape or form. Quadro (AMD's workstation cards) and Tesla cards aren't for anyone here unless they are doing some extreme rendering, compute or work with programs that benefit from having GPuCompute.

It's not for Battlefield 4, I figured people interested in PC hardware would know the difference between a Geforce and Tesla card.

IT'S A WORKSTATION CARD. It's not designed for gaming, in fact these cards usually perform very poorly compared to cards designed for gaming specifically.

Movie rights aren't the same as licensing rights in games.

Can't really see how this is cheating, perhaps you've just never had the pleasure of working in a retail setting. Anyhow, if you hadn't noticed WP7 has very little presence in stores and just mind share in general this is just about incentivizing AT&T employee's to plug something.

On Killer Bee's from Wikipedia:

"The Africanized honey bee in the western hemisphere is directly descended from 26 Tanzanian queen bees (A. m. scutellata) accidentally released by a replacement bee-keeper in 1957 near Uberlândia, Minas Gerais State in the southeast of Brazil from hives operated by biologist Warwick E. Kerr, who had interbred honey bees from Europe and southern Africa."

GPU's are still underpowered, the price isn't that hard to swallow given the hardware. But I still don't see the appeal in something I can't tinker with or upgrade.

Steam, and who writes down IP addresses? Also if you keep your pc in working order you'll find the instances of you "googling" diminsh.

Also Split Screen multiplayer is something that's dying in Console gaming, don't really see how thats a positive anymore and if plugging in a USB cord is to hard for you then what are you doing?

Enjoy spending more for games.

Kane and Lynch 2 on the 360 and Black Ops on the PS3 say hi.

I also never saw the Hades kill in GoW3 because the animation weirded out on me. Something similar happened in the demo of Heavy Rain, console experiences are no longer perfect out of the box.

The stupidity housed inside of this comment is just mind boggling.

So Crysis 1 and Warhead would have been better if they were corridor shooters like CoD or Killzone? Crysis is only boring if the player playing the game is boring. You sir are boring.

Your silly Peer 2 peer hosting service for 50 dollars+ a year is a massive waste of money (Good job!) So I really fail to see how a dedicated server with no host advantage almost 99% uptime and the ability to fre...

We have 2 major providers in Ontario Bell and Rogers, both offer ridiculously low bandwidth caps. I spent 100 dollars a month for my internet and I'm still capped at 175 gb and am charged .50 cent a gigabyte that I go over. 150 bucks last month ><
