1. use a secure o/s. if your o/s is compromised there is nothing any kind of encryption software can do to help you.
2. After you have installed GnuPG download and install Thunderbird. After you get your accounts set up on that and working, add the Lightning calendar and the ENIGMAIL plug in.
Why would they bother making a “new” operating system? Why wouldn’t they just do what so many others have done? Just take the Unix operating system and put a GUI (graphical user interface) on top of it?
In fact, they could probably either license or buy outright some small company that has a GUI plus some version of Unix. That would give them a “legitimate” operating system.
