Wohoo! Selling 980 Ti in order to get one.
If you upgrade, establish your Windows 10 entitlement with your hardware, then rollback to Windows 7, do you lose your digital entitlement to Windows 10?
What shining examples of rudimentary scientific illiteracy in this comment list.
haha. Such an aggravating pseudoscience-fiction movie.
Wow, if these prices are accurate then this creates some serious competition. No denying that AMD provides best bang for buck.
Personally I hope this provides incentive for Nvidia to cut 980Ti by $50 because I prefer Nvidia software and would like to replace my 780Ti with the 980Ti.
Hoping I can sell my 780Ti for a decent price.
I'll probably try and get a 980Ti. Currently have a 780Ti sc, which came and went unusually quick. Hopefully I can sell it for ~$450.
I deleted mine because of a severe second hand overdose on memes and pseudo scientific conspiracy theories.
Naturally the two biggest alien cults, Raelians and Scientologists believe the aliens "they know" who exist (and created us) don't want to be discovered.. yet. Because essentially, we are not ready. So frustrating the things people worship. The Raelians are the most cringe worthy. They believe the ship is hovering above earth transferring/uploading our brains upon Raelian baptism and their home planet is only one light year away. It goes on and on and the chalk board scratching ...
If you're a power user used to fast custom PCs or even Mac towers, then absolutely they suck in every way. Even something as simple as YouTube, Vimeo, Twitch TV playback looks terrible compared to desktop viewing.
For casual, non critical passive use, they're great if not very expensive for what they do in terms of productivity.
I'm 24 and have had a pacemaker since 2007. This is super exciting news for someone like me. Ont the other hand, pacemaker surgery is relatively very simple with a quick recovery. This seems like it would require full on open heart. Therefore it would only be practical to very serious conditions.
I have had Windows 8, now 8.1 for about a year now and as a professional videographer and avid gamer, even across 4 monitors, I don't mind it at all. My biggest annoyance is getting my mouse cursor snagged in a sticky corner for a moment from time to time. Tiles for non windows 8 apps look clean and are easy to organize. Much more so than having a ton of desktop icons or task bar icons or start menu icons. Short cuts like right clicking the start menu to access essential menus like contro...
Impressive and exciting, but also the nature of the beast and nothing new. Both the 7970 and 680 at stock speeds are at least always neck-and-neck with the 6970 or 590 duel GPUs. Just like the future single GTX880 will be neck and neck or just behind the future GTX790 dual GPU.
Until tablets start using full blown desktop/laptop features I have a hard time using them for anything professional in the video world.
