A celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, on-board graphics and a 1080p screen for $450?

Thats brutal. I could buy a Chromebook laptop with those specs with a better monitor and still come out way cheaper

but this is literally already a feature.

Last time i cancelled my uber it was a $5 cancel fee

Ive got Netflix and Prime Video and tbh i still buy and rent a lot of blurays. Even a 3 or 4 GB torrent doesnt look or sound anything close to a bluray and im especially pretty obsessed with building my 4k collection.

I have a rental store down the street though...

Honestly loved 3D but the price of a 3D bluray is absolute madness, at least here in Canada

$40-$50 for one movie? Nope

nah. Why read when you can just upload everything to your brain?

What if you could upload experiences to your brain, too? like going to the grand canyon. Then the next day you'd just be like "yeah the grand canyon was p kool"

just spend your whole life sitting on the couch uploading stuff to your brain thinking you had the most amazing life, but really youre just chilling at home with your dog.
The future sounds awesome

eh thats not really true.
If a band comes out with a new album, i torrent it immediately.
If that wasnt available i'd be buying the CD.

Android's amazing. I just got my Galaxy S4 back today and im real happy about that.

but man, just stop. this is super weak.
nobody cares.

i mean it, nobody.
this isnt even an article its just a dumb flamebait typed like a high school playstation/xbox fanboy, but with phones instead of videogames...

nobody

I get by with my 6 gig plan just fine.
I've almost gone over once, back when i had to stay at a internet-less motel for a week.

But 6 gig plans simply dont exist anymore. Or if they do, they're comedically overpriced (at least in Canada).

The standard is 1 or 2 gig plans and honestly that just would not be enough for me. :x

They show the Pebble under Galaxy Gear and then say the Gear wasn't successful. Wat.

I think that the main issue with the article is that nothing makes any sense. It seems like it was written by a 13 year old ex-360 fanboy who got his 9 year old brother to proofread and edit it.

"The "e" Logo which used to define the internet now looks like a mere icon that constantly gets over-looked by PC users who have either made the Chrome or Firefox their default browsers."

That's legit just a random paragraph i went back and cop...

Im just gonna be a hipster and say that i really like the Win 8 start menu.

I hate having cluttered icons and it really helps me out for that reason. For example, on Windows 7 if i wanted to open iTunes [if it wasnt in my quicklaunch], i would have to go Start -> Programs -> (All programs? Dont remember) -> Apple -> iTunes. Like screw right off. Now i just throw my mouse to the bottom left corner, click, and then click the iTunes square. And i know exactly where m...

Yeah the answers were great. The interviewer sounded like he was interviewing a celebrity looking for gossip to make an "ANDROID BOSS HATES FACEBOOK HOME" article.

Yeah seriously. I was excited for it too.

It shouldn't be a launcher. It would be a sick app to just sit on your desk and let your new feed scroll by. But as a launcher it's just frustrating and useless.

4269d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

yeah i agree. Even when i tell it not to be my default launcher and to never ask me again, it still just keeps asking and asking. It's okay, like i like it sitting in my dock on my desk just sorta showing my feed y'know, but i wanna just use it as an app not a full replacement.

Lol and that homescreen replacement. xD So bad haha no folders, no sorting options, no... actually, theres no anything.

The whole thing is pretty bad i guess haha i wanted to g...

If you click the article and look at it up close it's not as ugly. The N4G picture looks cropped or something haha

but yeah it's definately not very... high-tech looking

..but all you really said was that Nokia made custom apps that are better than the ones in the Marketplace. :k

You can't just ignore the OS having only-mainstream-apps and a surprising lack of games - even the very popular ones. The phone might be really good but the OS and app store arent anywhere near the calibre of Android and iPhone.
