Net neutrality is not “just a buzz word” thats like saying any other law or Amendment is “just a buzz word”. There is a reason why we have the law. It does, in fact, exist. So just because you got your news from someone who clearly wanted to deceive you by down playing a law, it doesnt mean you should take their word for it.

I know what the regulations were pre2015 and what we just went back to. It’s not bad at all. Basic regulations worked fine before the FCC took over the internet for no reason in 2015. There’s hardly any evidence of real blocking or throttling and those few documented cases were rectified with the regulations already on the books. It’s basically virtue signal bullshit and a power grab. I’m taking this to stop you from “future crimes”.

What this means for “taking the keys from our government masters.” Is actually a lot. What government gives up power? The successful ones. What happens when they try to control everything? We dodged a bullet of being locked into another genius plan from congress or even worse, 3 unelected people in the FCC. I don’t care which party they are. They need a new law from congress to try that again. I don’t think that authority should delegated, basic regulations are fine and none of that was lost. I think some were just kicked to the federal trade commission to actually enforce.

All data is the same, utility line right? No segregating usage. You want to dump government money (our money) into Comcast and make it so they will never fail. As long as you have regulations and complete central authority then you are fine with fascism. Like what the dems did with health insurance companies. That pretend private sector bullshit. I would rather some new tech come in and wipe out Comcast cable like the largely unregulated cellular wiped out the landline utility. I want the choice of something better and even if it takes a few more years to get to my area, it eventually will. A market finds a way. Utilities are rarely allowed to innovate because of lobbies like yours. They block innovation with endless fake government money and stupid policy, it’s just debt to subsidize an inefficient system. Ideological lobbies are the worst on all sides because it’s just emotional and not substantive in any way. They just demand reparations without a reasonable solution.
