The video game commentary trend exploded over the past few years. It’s almost inevitable to see self-recorded gameplay footage when simply browsing YouTube, Dailymotion and even Vine. Unfortunately this habit doesn’t come cheap, and rather confusing on which recorder to get. Basic setups of familiar vendors such as Elgato and Hauppauge are priced above 150 USD, and in some cases can even cost you more than the console itself.
For that reason, I was happy to find out that there’s an alternative, a very cheap one to say at the least, coming from Kaiser Baas. I’m talking about their Game Recorder HD, that although flawed can be found for 70 dollars.
