They just about need this with the nightmare shop layouts, the one here, you legit have to go through the WHOLE bloody store in a single path to get anywhere.

But instead of fixing the terrible layout, so people can actually navigate by themselves they instead decide to design an app so you can find your way around...

First of all, getting lost inside an IKEA is part of the fun. Secondly, this app doesn't help you navigate the store. It overlays furniture inside your room so you can see what it looks like before you buy.
