"The latest word on the street is that the display will actually stay the same, meaning that we should be looking again at a 5-inch panel with 1080 x 1920 resolution. This is a bit surprising given that most other flagships are reportedly moving on to 1440 x 2560 resolution, and bigger displays in some cases. The HTC One M9 will not be among them it seems, but overall that shouldn’t be a huge drawback."
HTC has once again extended its $150 off deal for its current flagship smartphone, the 10. This was supposed to expire on October 16, but instead HTC's online store now shows it as available until October 31.

This year's smartphone heavyweights go head to head.
I think 5 inches would be a bit redundant, I'm sure they'll up it.
If they go for 5.5 inches that would be great a bump the resolution to QHD, like on LG G3. And the 20 MP snapper with Lollipop and Sense 6.0 could make one of the best gadgets out there.
1080 is fine as long as the battery holds for 2 days! There's no excuses anymore! Of z3 can do it so should every other phone! Majority of people would rather have 1080 and 2-3 days battery life then have QHD and 7 hours battery! Sorry but I can't tell the difference between 1080 and QHD! And 5.5 inches for a phone is too big! That's a phablet my friend.
Not every phone upgrade needs to grow the screen it just needs to make it good the way it is.
