According to Teardown.com, Glass components cost an estimated $79.78, or a little more than 5% of its retail price. Google claims the estimate is “absolutely wrong.”

Glass is for suckers with too much disposable income anyway. I'd bet the thing costs no more than 15% of it's price to make.
I shouldn't really be defending this but does it matter how much it cost to make it?
How much does Gucci bags cost to make? Does it take millions for R&D?
I know they are fashionable goods so its hard to compare, but what about Vertu Phones?
