Sky television have updated their Sky Store app to add the ability to buy movies to own, rather than just rent them.
The new feature will let customers buy, watch and keep many of the latest and best movies as soon as they’re released as well as some of Hollywood’s best loved classics, all at the touch of a button on their Sky remote. movies will be available at the same time as they are released to DVD.

Sky has launched a new interactive hashtag on Twitter. The new tool will be used by Sky to group tweets on upcoming sporting events and movies using the hashtag #WatchOnSky letting you see a stream of shows you might be interested in watching or recording on your Sky+ box for later viewing.
If you see a show you like, you can expand the tweet to reveal options to Watch now via Sky Go, or Record sending a command to your Sky+ box to record the show – assuming you have these services configured in advance.
Pocket-Lint: Sky is set to roll-out a new and improved electronic programme guide (EPG) to customers from the end of May and Pocket-lint has already had a walkthrough of the new interface.
Shown to us behind close doors, the bad news is that we weren't able to take any photos of the new interface as Sky informed us that many of the final details of how it will look and work are still being put through their final testing stages.
