New to the U.S. market is Toshiba's first Chromebook, a 13.3-inch. machine with an Intel Celeron 2955U processor.

I don't get the Chromebook thing. Functional low-end laptops aren't exactly expensive, and I'm always seeing $200+ chromebooks.
$20 more than this chromebook and you can find a functional dualcore, full-OS laptop if you shop around just a tiny bit.
