TechCrunch - At its Android and Chrome event in San Francisco today, Google announced that it is bringing textbooks to the Google Play store so students will be able to purchase and rent their textbooks for their Android devices and for reading on the web.
If you’re a night reader on your mobile device, then you know that it’s hard to get tired with the bright screen burning your eyeballs. This of course isn’t a problem with physical books, as you can add a soft light to the room to wind down.
Examiner: The Google Play Store is going to be added to Barnes & Noble's Nook HD and Nook HD+ tablets, as announced by the company tonight.
An update for each tablet should be rolling out on Friday, which will significantly increase the app offerings for each Nook.
