This one overclocks to a 160Hz refresh rate.
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603H is truly a beast of a machine when it comes to performing under heavy loads. While there is still room for improvement on the graphics side, 1080p gaming on Ultra High settings above 60FPS is great by any means. You’re not always able to make the most of its 165Hz panel, but it’s still great to have. The only downside to the newly-introduced Intel Core i9 CPU is that there is quite a steep jump over previous Zephyrus gaming laptops.
You know, I really like the prospect of 4k gaming but you have to be insane to buy one now.
I mean high resolution and pixel density is the shiznip, but this monitor only has a contrast ratio of 800:1 and a response time of 8ms. It also cost $3500!!! That seems to be average with most 4k monitors of this resolution.
No thank you. I'll keep my 27" asus 1080p 120hz monitor. It has a contrast ratio of ASCR 50,000,000:1 and 2ms response time. It's also only currently $500.
The cons far outweigh the pros of 4k monitors currently. Especially the price.
