The folks at Skullcandy didn’t have much to show off this year at E3 in the way of new hardware aside from a few new coats of paint for the extremely popular Astro A40 line. What they were talking about however were their new licensing deals with Ubisoft for Assassin’s Creed and EA for Battlefield 4 branded headsets. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag will adorn the Skullcandy SLYR while the Battlefield 4 headsets will be available in both Astro A40 and A50 varieties. Speaker tag packs may be sold separately, with a few being included with each headset.
The Astro A50 is a premium pair of headphones that are a perfect fit for gaming - which is good, as they can’t do much else.
Astro Gaming comes out with a new wireless gaming headset that features a new base station transmitter/charger.
The well known Astro A50 gaming headset, which was first released in 2012, is getting an awesome upgrade, with the company bringing the customization which they had in the A40 to the flagship headphones. The major difference between them is that the A50 comes with mod kits ($50 each), allowing you to switch out core pieces of the headset.
Bring the GI's & nylon cord Titan's back!!! Those came with all kinds of things.
