First we got R&C which despite all the concern doom and gloom articles sold fantastic and now UC4 surpassing every exclusive sales in two weeks this gen. And VC remastered had a great first week as well. When are people going to realize, PS GAMERS SUPPORT THEIR FIRST PARTY EXCLUSIVES. U.K. Sales chart you'll still see R&C in or near top ten, even UC collection is there in top 40

Nice, this game have a chance of being the best selling exclusive this gen and before it R&C was the best selling on the franchise despite being released close to each other the PS community have shown great support for a lot of thing, exclusive after exclusive get released they support it, variety get supported, unique IP get support, as a result thing get a lot better as time passes much respect to them.

I got a feeling they did not introduce Cassie for nothing she seems to have a keen interest in the very same thing as her father. So I think down the Road NaughtyDog could have PlayStation's very own Exclusive Lara Croft type character in Cassie Drake!

I am loving the game. It is good to see it doing well, but the fanboys or haters are hilarious who are bringing up Halo 5. Must everything to you fanboys or haters be about one platform against the other? Hilarious the mindset of some gamers, as instead of just giving credit to U4, your first train of thought is to bash Halo 5 or anything Microsoft. Given a nearly 40 million install base, I would think 2.7 is the minimum for one of Sony's most important feanchises.

Holding off a multiplat, Doom no less, is seriously impressive. ND is just plainly in a league of their own. Fact.

Putting things in perspective, Smash Bros Wii U has only sold 4.8 million units. UC4 us in pace to at least tie that is not trump it....So is Smash Bros. done? Of course not.

Still very impressive numbers from ND and hope the sales continue for this game.

I see some people are saying the install base differences makes Halo 5's sales more impressive.

Far be it from me to detract from Halo 5's commercial success. It's been pretty lucrative for Microsoft. But you need to keep in mind that die hard Halo fans are the ones who have cashed in on the game already. So we likely won't see anymore sales spikes for it. Uncharted on the other hand launched weeks before Overwatch and is apparently still doing well. Assuming the hype does down for Overwatch, sales for Uncharted 4 could go back up. And, of course, word of mouth advertising. That likely worked against Halo since people probably heard it's great to have if you own an Xbox One but not worth getting one for (I suspect that's what Gears 4 is for). Uncharted 4 however, though not necessary to sell more consoles, it could be heavily recommended among friends with PlayStation 4. This is, after all, the studio behind The Last of Us, and that could be all people need to hear.

Moving past my pure speculation, those are very respectable sales. Naughty Dog really deserves the praise. The game is fantastic. I'd love to know what their budget was and if they turned a profit already.

Last of us had an opening week of 1.3 million sold (and sold 3.4 million for its first three weeks)
By August 2014 it sold 7 million (Only considering just the PS3 version)..It is definitely more by now

Uncharted 3 and Uncharted 2 had an opening week of 1.1 million and 1 million respectively, and they both sold about 7 million copies each (in addition to digital sales)

Considering this and the sales of other Naughty Dog games...

Uncharted 4 will sell about 15 million by Fall 2017

Less than 1/3 the amount of people that played the Overwatch open beta. Not as good as I was expecting. Not bad by any means, and I'm sure fanboys will say it's because it's an exclusive, but I heard some fools say overwatch wouldn't even touch uncharteds sales.

There is no need for spin. Uncharted is a great game on the top selling console and will be the best selling exclusive game on any console yet. I dont know if it would do 10 million or even 6 million but i really dont carel It will however outsell every other xbox exclusive so far or coming this year. The install base is a big factor but more crucially uncharted is just a great franchise that perhaps not everybody loves but more than enough do to make the game worthwhile.

Well hey im a PS and PC guy and i think uncharted is mechanically cheap, mediocore and utterly horrid in combat. I think its only saving grace is its graphics and story. I also think its extremely moronic to waste your resources on having a lemur steal your apple to get an achievement, especially since thats money better spent on oh i dont know....GAMEPLAY!?!? enemy design and variety?! I have never seen a worse game in enemy design and variety than uncharted.
