I’m a multi console owner. And enjoyed mcc on Xbox. But I would totally rebuy and play on PlayStation for fun and the novelty of it. It’s be like playing sonic in Nintendo for the first time. And also just to support the business practice. Let them see that there’s more money to be had bringing games to other platforms. I wouldn’t care if I got to play halo on my PlayStation or the 40 odd million Xbox games got to play uncharted 4. I’d be glad for naughty dog getting that money that would help them keep making the kind of games I love.

If that ever happened my jaw would drop to the floor and I would most likely end up buying it despite owning it on XBO.

When I think Halo I think Xbox and vice versa. Halo on anything other than Xbox or PC would take some getting used to. Definitely strange at first. If they put Halo on a rival platform the Xbox is pretty much done in terms of identity. Phil needs to chill.

On the plus side Halo gets even more exposure than it already has but at the expense of Xbox's identity in the console space. That is the equivalent of a main Mario game appearing on Xbox or PS.

Now xbxox fans are spinning it like this is a positive, xbox games on ps4/switch is great because it means more money for xbox, i cant with these people anymore, theyre delusional. If sony was doing this the internet would of exploded with all kinds of negative articles.

It sucks that xbxox has no exclusives or any new single player ips, Xbox only saving grace is gamepass, using the hard work of 3rd parties to make a profit without putting any effort. No one buys gamepass for xbxox terrible tired exclusives, people by game pass for the dirt cheap 3rd party games.

If Halo were to come to a Playstation Bungie would have done it by now. But if Microsoft has future plans to port Halo to Playstation what would Microsoft be expecting back from Sony. Nathan Drake on Xbox or Kratos on Xbox I doubt Sony would float their characters to Xbox. Only way I would buy Halo on a Playstation is if it were the Bungie games I am not a big fan of 343.

Saw this article yesterday, would not buy it even on PlayStation. I have a friend who would welcome such a move and am sure he would rebuy Gears on PS4/5, and probably co-op it together again.

Only played a tiny bit of Halo CE, the four player couch MP or whatever it is/was called, but did not like the look of the game with every thing looking bright and neon. Did not sell me on the idea that I'm in a war, too clean and pretty. I think Gears had the right look, which is why I played the first three games co-op.

I said it a few days ago that MS are pushing to be a third party publisher, with all their recently acquired studios having games on PS4, and them pushing Minecraft Dungeons, to now hearing they were and maybe still are considering putting Halo MCC on PlayStation.

Then if that happens as I've said before, talk will happen were someone says that Sony needs to reciprocate and bring some Sony exclusives to XBox. Can't say it won't happen, because we've already seen the article of Nintendo needs to reciprocate and allow some game or character of theirs to be featured on XBox. First cross platform, next will be cross exclusives. Of course there's going to be someone who is going to say that exclusives shouldn't be a thing, and all games should be available to everyone.

Now I ask myself, if MS were in a better position as far as console sales and exclusive software goes, would we be seeing all this talk and movement towards a gaming utopia from them? They want to infiltrate every device and home, which was their plan all along, but were they always planning on using Sony PlayStations as a trojan horse to do so? Are we soon to be under one gaming regime banner in the not so far flung future, we're we all hail and praise the Lord Spencer. I will slit my ethernet cord first.

Saw a Halo Map in PS Dreams, i can picture them making an exzact replica of the multiplayer maps on there, at least on the PS5 version, Unreal Tournament 3 on the ps3 already had a decent Halo Copy

LOL this is Y they aren't winning the Console war. and i know its business, revenue etc but they cant have AAA exclusives to save there lives. LOL i have all of systems and loved xbox last gen and this gen but PS4 has more AAA EXCLUSVES. key word microsoft exclusives to only ps4.

You have 3 sort of exclusives to buy Xbox for . Halo Gears Forza . If you put Halo on PS that’s 33.333333 percent less reason to buy an Xbox console . They are definitely ditching them sooner than later and going full Sub mode

I wont be surprise if halo collection do make it on ps down the lines. Nintendo already has a one of there exclusives and banjo on smash so after that I really wont be surprise surprise.

this mostly likely is to be on PC and Switch than Ps4 considering Microsoft relationship with Nintendo vs Sony.

As a longtime ps fan I would not have anything against it if this is MS future plan to go multi plat publisher. However same time it would be kinda sad as it would be an end of an era. As much as I don't like MS there is no doubt they had good impact as well on the industry and on Sony

I say bring Halo to PlayStation. It would instantly reclaim its title as the most popular game franchise in the world if that were to happen. For PlayStation gamers who haven't played the MCC, you would be in for a serious treat. So much content in that package its mind boggling.

Personally, i am all for exclusives being a thing of the past. So yeah, the thought of microsoft bringing halo to the playstation is a good idea, i just hope sony and nintendo jump on the bandwagon with this.

It should be. I have many friends who only own PlayStations but really enjoy Halo as well. Especially now that the MCC is finally in good shape after that 4k update it got not too long ago.

This is why I'm done with them. I'll play there games on ps. They have aome great developers not but what they are looking to do in the future iant for me

This is the future microsoft, since satya nadella took over, is going towards. Microsoft is a software and a service company, before hardware. That is why they have MS Office on Apple and Android platforms.

Their Xbox and Gaming division, is no different.

Whether it's an app or a native release. It will happen. Cuphead on the Switch is the start. The Switch will be the first of the console platforms to receive big microsoft first party games. Gears/Halo/Forza on Switch. Then comes playstation, with all these. Then lastly, xbox gamepass subscription service for all consoles.

Microsoft wants your money, wherever you play. They literally have their program named "PLAY ANYWHERE" and it's not just Windows 10 PC's and devices. They will extend to every possible device they can extend either natively , if playable, or through Project xCloud.

It is INEVITABLE at this point. The only question is "WHEN".

I hope they do in the future, this and Forza was the only reason I got a Xbox One, if they release it on PS4 then I can get rid of the Xbox as i think is it s a crap system and it is just gaining dust at the moment.
