I do love Red Dead Redemption 2 but after I played it again. The game did have some questionable game design like clunky mechanics, the pacing of story and some others as well. Don’t get me start with Red Dead Online, it just trash to be honest and I did played that mode.

Not really they look pretty much the same check board on Pro is good enough. I won't say RDR2 doesn't look good but Im not dropping 500$ just to get something that really doesn't look that much better honestly.

Agreed Forza Horizon 4 is so much more impressive than the lifeless, soulless and barren Horizon Zero Dawn, plus it runs at 60 FPS.

i don’t agree that GOW was game of the year, But i’m not upset about it. You wanna see people upset, look at last year when zelda won GOTY over Horizon and how many people called the game awards a sham, and fixed on this site alone. Actually, look at game awards posting before this years event and people were settting up for that again, until god of war won. But no mention of how the game awards show started with a sony commercial and were littered with them throughout...

Wow look at that peddling Xbox like there's no tomorrow. Most people aren't going to pay $500 for marginal increase in resolution when the system has a handful of games that are even good. If resolution mattered then the Switch wouldn't be doing so well and preferences play into it too. Did resolution bother you when you bought you're OG Xbox? Probably not.

As for your baseless Netflix comparison what a joke. Netflix pours billions to make that content. They're spending $12 billion this year and you think Xbox is going to spend that kind of money on their service? Unlikely.

Did the lack of good AAA exclusives during the launch time frame bother you towards the OG PS4? Because during that time frame, the argument was better played Multiplats and indie games support for the PS4, while xbox had the better launch exclusives (look at launch game reviews, and you will see xbox had higher rated exclusives) and then added in titanfall a few months later while the PS4 had low rated killzone and knack, the lowest rated infamous game, amongst others.

for me, first person shooters were what i wanted, and xbox had the better games there. So no, the resolution difference didn’t bother me, because i was playing titanfall, and PVZ Garden Warfare during the launch window.

MS isn’t paying billions to make content for gamepass yet, but netflix didn’t at the start either. But now xbox is up to 12 studios, and they are all making games for gamepass. So there will be a tonne of new original content released on there in the coming years. So yeah it makes total sense.

Its funny that you always bring up Knack, Killzone etc. That does NOT change thhe facts. PS4 as of currently has the best exclusives. The fact that you can only bring up games from 5 years and ignore that right now GoW, Spiderman and all the current games was the real payoff for Playstation owners whereas Xbox rolling into year 6 and year 17-18 overall for Xbox has been doing what exactly?! If graphics made such a difference why did anyone buy the OG Xbox?! The promise of more Halo, Gears, Forza. The Switch has helped to hammer home the point graphics is not the most important factor, games are. No only an idiot would think the comparison makes any sense at all. Netflix has over a 100 million subscribers whereas Xbox doesn't have anywhere near that. The sales of a lot of those Xbox games are mediocre at best which is why it doesn't matter if they're on the service or not.

As for MS pouring in billions, yeah we heard that they had a billion dollars towards games at the beginning of the generation and where are those games again? Right the billion spent didn't really produce all these games they claimed they had that billion budget on now did it?! Oh right its the usual, just wait for next E3, wait for next gen, wait for next year or 2020 then you'll see the games excuse again as usual. Its year 17 for Xbox how much more waiting for the games?

It could work if their sub numbers are high enough. Plus, those games are still selling at retail, so not all the cost have to be made up by the sub service.

That said, I think right now it's more an introductory price, and day one AAA is probably bit going to be viable long term without a secondary monetization like micro transactions. Time will tell, but ms is still in the process of getting people vested in the service, and ms isn't adverse to taking a loss for a bigger long term goal. As of right now they're setting themselves up for next gen, and trying to win back the pc players they lost when they gave them the cold shoulder last gen.

Well we might get a few but we know what MS is doing they have told us. Booty has said that they are focused on buying mid tier AA developers. Basically that means smaller devs to make games to fill Gamepass.

I have this way of thinking right now. Sony is giving us those blockbuster games with high quality movie theater like experiences. MS, on the other hand, are more focus on making money and giving us those straight to DVD or straight to TV experiences. Have you noticed how when we have a blockbuster movie come out then there is a lower quality equivalent that comes out straight to TV?

Yes it may be good or ok but it never lives up to the original. You can tell the budget and talent is not there. The same love and passion is not there. MS is proving that. Look at Sea of Thieves. Gorgeous water but what about the rest of the game? Look at the character models. The content. Oh and they forgot to make the Kraken's body. Who would have thought that players in an online only Pirate game would decide to take a swim (IN THE WATER) to see the MAIN monster in the game? I'm mean the nerve of these people right? The sad thing is that the fanboys tried their best to defend it. It was laughable at best. Talent and passion will trump power any day of the week. Talent and passion will also trump just throwing money at a developer. You have to prove yourself in this business. You just don't throw money at a mediocre developer and then say make a great AAA game this time even though you haven't proven yourself yet. And MS and their PR team, including almighty Phil, have been saying exactly what there plans are yet the fanboys can't except it. Gamepass on EVERY DEVICE!!! Remember that. I read it, those "benefits" are only benefits now in the immediate present none of that looks into the future which is exactly what I would expect from American business people short-sighted fuckery. In the long term, Netflix is not sustainable while it makes its own content and provides content of others neither would be a thing like a game pass. The model would not sustain itself at even 20$ a month. Eventually losses are losses and they won't be supported.

Netflix has significant volume to make their service model work. They have over 100 million subscribers and make billions a month. No way does Xpass even come close to that.

Don't know why the comparison shouldn't be made. Netflix didn't start with that volume or subscribers at first as they had to grow and add content over time.

The same thing GP is now doing. They are slowing growing and MS has made moves to add more content. Don't know why it's so hard for you guys to understand this.
