My kind of Video card, but errhmm, very expensive indeed

Crazyglues4357d ago

LoL... $549 - you gotta be kidding me, with no Crysis 3 or big Amazing game to put on that beast, Good Luck trying to sell it at that Price..

I mean hats off to them they are pushing the tech and making advancements but at that price the Graphics card game has just become ridiculous again..

Why in the world would the average gamer even need this thing.. It's just silly at this point.. Huge waste of money...

I can't name one Amazing Game that this card would be worth getting it for, because all the games run fine on a 6970... -:)

maybe people with 2560 by 1600 who want to run bf3 maxed or maybe people who want to max bf3 at 1080p with contant 60+fps(every setting maxed out this card did an average of 65.4 fps)

Sure, the price is not so good, though I do expect extreme gain in performance with new drivers.
And if you look at the power consumption it's better than nvidia 580 and it is more powerful.

We have to wait for the release and the tests from all around.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Review

A six-core, 12-thread processor with a $299 price tag, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is a great choice for midrange gaming CPUs. Out of the new Zen 3-based processors the business is offering, it has the best core count and price ratio. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X stands out when compared to the typical Intel Core i5-10600K, offering Intel serious competition (even though it comes with a little higher price tag than we're used to from Ryzens).
