During a press conference yesterday, Spotify launched a new platform that makes it possible to create apps for the music service. The new platform known as Spotify Apps allows third party developers to create small apps that can be used to bring you new and exciting music experiences built around your local music library and more than 15 million songs available on the service.
Spotify’s “unprecedented” popularity justified the deal.
