Android tops the charts in mobile malware, largely due to the failure of Google's Android Market to properly review apps before they hit the marketplace, says a new report from Juniper Networks.

Not surprising to be honest. As Android becomes more popular, there will be more malware. Minimal moderation of apps will increase the likelihood of malware infested apps. The only thing you can do is to only installed from trusted developers! Reading user reviews helps a lot too.

The number of developers on the android network is phenomenal. Not a surprise when a few dev's decide to go rouge.
