TechRadar: The HTC Radar is the latest smartphone to run Windows Phone 7.5, following on from the HTC Titan. With a smooth unibody design, HD video recording and 5MP camera, will it be enough to make Windows Phone a success?
If HTC was at school right now, you can't help feeling it'd be getting an A for effort. The Taiwanese manufacturer is certainly churning out handsets like nobody's business.
A year ago Microsoft defied the haters with its all new operating system for mobiles, Windows Phone 7, which launched with great fanfare and a far amount of critical approval, though with a few minor flaws. Now it's time for its first major update with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, getting its first outing on the HTC Radar, which also features a five-megapixel camera.
Pocket-Lint: Windows Phone 7 Mango is here and that means a selection of new smartphones to choose from. The new version of the OS is aimed at users who are either upgrading from the first batch of 2010 handsets, or moving over to the platform for the first time.
Pocket-Lint: Phones4U has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it will be selling the Windows Phone 7 touting HTC Radar and HTC Titan from Saturday 1 October.
The HTC Titan will be free on contract from £36 a month while the HTC Radar, also free on contract, will cost £26 a month.
